The scope of BELAM material procurement mainly covers: raw materials and components, instruments and tools, and service procurement. Specifically, raw materials and components include automation control products (e.g. solenoid valves, human-machine interfaces), electronic circuit components (e.g. printed circuit boards, resistors, capacitors, inductors, transistors, integrated circuits), optical components (e.g. filters, beam-splitters), sheet metal components (e.g. cabinets, stainless steel tanks), machined components (e.g. engineering materials, aluminium alloys, stainless steel structural parts), glass components (e.g. quartz glass, borosilicate glass structural parts), sensors (such as temperature sensors, pressure sensors, flow sensors) and packaging materials (such as cardboard boxes, foam, plastic bags). Instruments and tools cover environmental protection instruments (e.g. digital samplers, water samplers), testing equipment (e.g. CMMs, oscilloscopes, spectrum analysers), assembly tools (e.g. screwdrivers, wrenches, pliers) and packaging equipment (e.g. box sealers, balers). Services include logistics and transport services (for the transport of raw materials and finished products), equipment maintenance services (to ensure the normal operation of production equipment), technical consulting services (to obtain professional technical support and solutions), and training services (to enhance the skills and knowledge of employees).
